One of the questions I'm asked most often is how I got into this business. Looking back, I must have been influenced from those childhood visits to places like Coney Island, Rockaway's Playland, Nunley's Amusement Park (sadly, it's now a Pep Boys) and all the boardwalk arcades along the Long Island beaches and the Jersey Shore. I fondly recall the game rooms filled with huge assortments of arcade games and pinball machines at the Catskill Mountain resorts we visited on our family trips. I quickly learned that if I bothered my parents enough, I would get a pocketful of change.
When I was about 17 years old it was my father who gave me the opportunity to pursue my passion for amusement games. He'd ventured into operating his own game route! Who knows, maybe it was divine intervention. Soon I became an expert at servicing coin-op equipment, performing work for other route operators and arcades. Working on such a variety of equipment was a good training ground, but I could never escape the one coin-op device that interested me most... pinball machines. They were like a mechanical symphony of sights and sounds and by controlling the flippers you were the Maestro.
In my spare time I would restore old pinball machines and sell them to people to use in their homes. Before long, referrals came in from other people who wanted to buy a machine or get their machine fixed or restored. I still get the same feeling of gratification when I take an old tired machine and restore it to its former glory. It's been said that if you never want to work a day in your life, do something you love. I'm lucky. I love what I do. My restoration and repair work strives for the highest standard and the results speak for themselves. I invite you to come and see it all in person. Contact me today, won't you?

"I have one of the best pinball repair guys, his name is Ron. I have been using him for almost 3 years and he is a gem. He can fix most problems right on the spot, but most importantly he will NOT rip you off. He is extremely reasonable. He has repaired worked on all my pins: The Addams Family, Theatre of Magic, Medieval Madness, Funhouse and Revenge from Mars.
I just picked up a SWE1, which Ron has not had the opportunity to work on yet :)
P.S. I know Ron also owns a Indiana Jones pinball machine, so I know he will be very familiar with it's problems.

"The machine is beautiful, Ron. You did a great job restoring it. We are so pleased. I have posted feedback for you. Please do the same for me.
We would like to buy more machines--pinball and arcade. So if you ever have one in great condition that you want to sell, please give us a head's up. It might be a little while before we can afford the next, but from this experience, we'd like to buy from you."

"Dear New York Pinball,
Hello, I just wanted to give you an enormous compliment. Laser Ball is stunning; arresting. Your work is marvelous. I gave my ex boyfriend the Laser Ball backglass and he smashed it on my doorstep, leaving me to pick up the pieces. I have them in a box. I'm trying to make something of it. If I had the money I'd buy it. All I can tell you is to keep on doing what your doing. Your a master. Thank you."

Ron,
"Just a quick note of thanks for hooking me up with those two machines. I really could not believe someone would take the time you did just to help a couple of your customers and a pinball hobbyist as much as you did. Especially since there was nothing in it for you other than finding a new home for a couple of old pinball machines. Class act all the way and best communications I have ever had on any transaction.
Thanks again,
Skip"

"Just wanted to take a minute to thank Ron. He was super easy and patient to deal with on my purchase of an Addams Family. It was packed crazy I think and arrived safe. He also helped me diagnose a loose wire from shipping over the phone this morning. Great seller and the Addams Family was as gorgeous as he described. Thanks Ron!"
